Project: Build or Replace a Deck or Non-Masonry Porch
Had several projects going on at the same time and all are going well and I am pleased with the work, the quality and the timing of Scott and his subs. work included roof over deck and screening, remaoval of steps and replace with ramp, concrete patio and remove and replace roof shingles on house and garage.

Project: Remodel a Basement
Use caution with this guy! Scott was very personable in the beginning, but wanted to front load the job and made promises he did not deliver. In fact, he did not manage the job at all, to the point, my husband and I had to fire/release him from our project. We would hate to have someone else go thru the "Scott Arnold" experience like we had. It was far from professional.

Job was great once it got done. Weeks went by without contact from contractor. He had family issues but could have made a quick 'phone call before going out of town for 2 weeks!!! Total time between paying deposit and job done approx. 5 weeks when initially a 3 day job.

I am EXTREMELY pleased with the deck Scott & Crew built! We were on a tight budget and didn't want to 'get what we paid for' as the saying goes... The deck is VERY sturdy and I can't complain about the price! My only complaint is it wasn't communicated well about how busy he was with other projects, he made it seem as if we could start as soon as we got permits... it took almost a month to start. The other complaint I have is after final inspection he didn't fill in the footer holes... otherwise the quality and 'people skills' are great!

Project: Install Concrete Patios, Walks and Steps
Scott Arnold was congenial, fair-priced, and did the job in a timely manner. However, he permitted the concrete guys to dump way too much leftover concrete down the hillside near the house. We must cover it up with gravel now. ALso, there was a puddle of concrete sealer that he sanded down before we paid him the last installment. He said he'd come back the next week to re-seal the sanded spot--which was about 3 feet in diameter--but never came back or called. We trusted him, but obviously shouldn't have paid him in full until he finished that one small task. He did a good job otherwise.

Scott and his crew were efficient and timely with their work. The job they did definitely exceeded my expectations. My deck is beautiful and I would not hesitate to use them again (in fact I already have) . I would recommend them to anyone who wants the job they are promised done on time and perfectly finished to their complete satisfaction.

They were prompt, gave good advice, were quick with an estimate and were willing to reneogiate when plans changed. They showed up when they said and completed the work in a timely manner. If they were late or plans changed they let me know. The working atmosphere was a good environment. I told them as I sat and watched them that they were my HGTV show for the day. Once the job was finished to my satisfaction the construction sight was left clean. I would recommend them for your Screened in Porch needs and other home work.
