This inspector pronouced the roof as a mid-life roof needing repairs to the wind damaged ares. It is in fact the original 26 year old roof needing complete replacement due to age, damage and having been poorly repaired in the past. My home owners insurance is about to be canceled unless I replace the roof, 3 months after buying the house. He also missed 4 plumbing leaks\issues and 2 electrical issues. I would have passed on this house had I had a competent opinion regarding the roof. He did cover himself in the report by recommending an inspection by a roofing contractor. I will never hire a home inspector again.
