Project: Hire a Handyman
Mr. Coughlan completed the projects request, ie: securing and painting moldings, staining the door and fixing interior door trim. He was expected to return and paint the exterior door trim, which he has not done. He also has also failed to respond to emails I've sent or telephone messages. I am extremely disappointed.

Project: Install or Replace Exterior Doors
Anthony Coughlan did a very good job in all stages of installing an exterior door. He took time during the estimate to LOOK closely at the area around the door and his estimate was detailed. He arrived on time, set up plastic to limit the amount of dust and debris in the cellar and cleaned up well when he left. When the original door was removed some problems were discovered and Anthony explained what needed to be done and then did it, returning another day to finish. He was pleasant and courteous. I have recommended him to friends.

Anthony was very through with his work and didn't cut any corners. He was sure to use quality products and made sure to complete every project. He was very honest and saved me a alot of money. He repaired a window flashing which was causing a huge water problem which many waterproofing guys were trying to charge thousands of dollars for. He also discovered a botched window installation.

Project: Clean and Seal Decks, Fences, Patios, Drives, or Porches
Anthony cleaned, stained and sealed my deck and did an outstanding job. He was the first of the three contractors to respond. He gave me an honest assesment of the work needed and took his time to explain every detail of the process. I immediately liked Anthony and am happy that I trusted my instinct as well as my pocketbook. I am more than just satisfied with the work. My deck looks beautiful and I am so happy that I decided to hire him and stop killing myself trying to do the job myself. I will and have already recommended Anthony to friends, he was professional, dependable and went over and above to get the job done.

took a little while to get going - but that is probably just that he is in demand and his source for windows was slow. He was willing to work with me - literally, he took off cost for me to be his helper and then gave me enough training so I could do the rest of the windows. not many contractors would do that. I liked working with him. I found out he does a lot of volunteer work. eric k

Job consisted of wall paper removal, painting, patching damaged walls, re-setting windows on 2nd level where water damage was done, replacing flashing, aluminum trim, etc. Neat, organized; there when he says he will be.
