Andres roofing did an excellent job of tearing off and replacing my roof. They were responsive and easy to work with. Their price is competitive and I would recommend you give them a try if your in the market for a roof repair or replacement.

The work was done on time. The roof appears to be okay. Did not appreciate nails being put through the occupied attic apartment room. Some of the workers either did not know about the length of nails or did not care. Plenty of black marks on my building thatI had to clean myself. Spilling paint on my sidewalk and leaving it there makes me wonder why. Positives are the price and being prompt and courteous.

Andres Roofing did a fantastic job. I will recommend them to everyone I know with roofing needs. They did a great job from start to finish. Very professional from proposal to the clean up. I would not recomment this contractor. They made errors in their quote for the work, did not keep a compitent person on the site at all times, did not have a port-john delivered to the job site and did not measure anything with a ruler/tape. Did not use a level when installing the gutters. If I did not stay home to monitor the work and inspect the roof myself this could have been a disaster. The crew was unable to speak english or understand my directions. Only when the superitendent or owner showed up could my requests be responded to.

In our defense, we indeed made a mistake on the quote but it was brought up to the homeowner attention way before we started the project. Once we brought it up to him and after he received several other quotes he still decided to go with us. Every single member of our crew knew exactly what to do but would not respond back to his concerns because he was screaming at them for no apparent reason, but rather let the foreman handle it. The homeowner was practically up on the roof the whole day complaining and questioning things that were actually being done right. Our goal is to satisfy all homeowners and our previous ratings can justify it.

On Monday, May 24, 2010, they came out as promised to install my roof at 7:00 a.m. It took them until 10:00 p.m. the same day to install the roof. As of the writing of this rating which is Friday, May 28th, 2010, they still have not completed the job. Sergio promised me on Monday, May 24, 2010 that he would come back the next day in the afternoon and have his crew clean up and complete the job. I have not heard from anyone at this company; the roof is not complete; there has been damage to my gutters; my daughter and I had to clean up water bottles and nails. I am extremely disappointed with the service, or lack there of that I received.

Andres did a very good job and cleaned up after themselves. The only issue that I would advise buyers to do is to get a not to exceed price. These contractors give you a base price to tier off the roof then a cost for each additional 4x8 plywood roof section that they need to replace, usually around $30.00 each. Therefore you go into the project with an open ended project cost. In my case the roofers told me they had to replace the whole roof and my estimate of $5,000 ballooned to $7,500 when they were done. I had figured about 50 sheets to do the whole house they charged me for 66. Its hard to argue at 8pm at night when their leaving!

This issue is brought up to every single homeowner. Because it is impossible to determine how much bad decking there will be until there roof is completely torn off, the replacement of decking is indeed an charged extra. Most of the time there is some, many times none and some times a substantial amount.

Showed up on time and fixed the roof quickly and effectively. Very friendly and helpful.
