I called and got an estimate and pretty much the next day I was getting the floors done. They worked quickly and did the job right. There was an issue with the finish and it bubbled up. (I believe it was from the humidity that day) But they worked quickly to get the job fixed! My floors look beautiful!

They did a very nice job on our pine floors. The workers were very knowledgeable. They had a little trouble with one of the vacuums and there was some dust to clean up afterward.

Keith was excellent! He did a great job refinishing the floors, didn't leave any dust, started and finished on schedule, had reasonable pricing, and even laid new hardwood for me where some was missing. I would definitely recommend Amherst Finishing.

I hired Amherst Finishing to do hardwood floor refinishing and whole house interior painting for my Aunt's estate. I was so impressed with their work that I then hired them to remodel an out-of-date 1950's styled bathroom. I cannot express how completely satisfied I am with the work done to get the house ready for sale. They made the white oak hardwood floors look like they are brand new, and even fixed 3 areas of the hardwood that needed to be replaced--and you would NEVER be able to see where it was fixed. The bathroom remodel is beyond what I could have hoped for. Keith (owner) is a joy to work with. HIGHLY recommended!
