The ladies did a great job! I had a very last minute request and they were able to accomodate me. I was told the service was $30 an hour, but it turns out that that was per person. They sent two people so the cost was double what I expected. I spoke with the manager and we were easily able to settle the matter. I would use them again.

My experience with American Maid was horrible. I hired them for a move out clean. They did not clean the floors well, didn't touch the baseboards, stove or walls. When they found out I wasn't happy they sent another crew out. My neighbor let them in and the cleaners started a fight with my neighbor when she showed them the spots that were missed and the police were called. The other crew was angry that they had to re-do the job. Right now we are pressing charges against one of the cleaners.

I ask them to clean the windows and sills, but neither were done, this was for a house move out to prepare the house to go on the market, but the lightswitches weren't cleaned and they said they don't carry a degreaser for the stove, but they were told what the job was to be before they came.

Arrived 2 hrs late and did not call Started off doing a good job but then slacked off I found cobwebs under the mantle and on fireplace screen, switch plate covers, and lamp shades not wiped off`` I specifically asked that the chairs and couch be moved and swept under and the leather sides be wiped off. Neither of these were done. My daughter was in the next room and heard them saying that reaching under with the vacum would be "good enough" They broke 3 things. Two they told me about and took off the bill, the 3rd thing I found after they left. They also made comments on how much "stuff" i had ad how dusty my house was.
