Project: Install or Replace an Asphalt Shingle Roof
I was getting estimates for Ultra Timberline, I decided to go with American Home Contractors, for the price. I found out later it was for HD Timberline shingles and not Ultras. The contract was change by Chris Hamilton. I would recommend anyone who deals with the company to make sure they have everything down in writing. The workers did an excellent job, but they did not reinstall my siding piece that fell during the shingle instalation. They threw it in the truck. Now I am missing a siding piece to my house. Also, the nails and debrie could of been picked up better. Chris promised me 2 bundles of shingles, have not received them yet.

Project: New Windows - Multiple
Installation was 5 wks. after contract signed, by a professional and mostly efficient crew (clean up could have been a bit better). Materials for some finishing work were forgotten and necessitated a return the next day, a bit of an inconvenience for us. We said we did not want a subcontractor to do the job and were assured that this was the contractor's crew. We found out later the crew is a subcontractor who works exclusively for the company, but would have appreciated an explanation beforehand. The job was completed satisfactorily however, so we would recommend with the caveat about subcontractor status. Windows are very high-quality.

Project: Install or Completely Replace Vinyl Siding
We recently had our siding and all windows replaced by American Home Contractors. Steve was able to accommodate our scheduling needs and came in with the best price and value for the money of six contractors interviewed. There were two separate crews for the windows and for the siding. Both teams worked quickly and efficiently with beautiful results. With respect to both teams, the work was performed when promised, and the craftsmanship was excellent. The vinyl siding and windows make our 40 year-old split-level home look brand new. We are very satisfied with the overall job and would highly recommend this contractor.

I couldn't be happier working with Josh and American Home Contractors. From the sales presentation, materials used and work performed all was top notch. I even had a few discussions with the owners in regards to the work, they promptly addressed my concern and have earned another great review. I perform much of my own home improvement projects which make me very hard to please, I can say there workmanship and attention to detail is outstanding.My roof and siding were done by AHC.
