We had a very positive experience with American Clear Air. From the receptionist, Annie, to the tech that came out to our home, they were professional all the way. I was concerned that this would turn out to be one of those "bait and switches" where they quote you a super low price and then come out and use scare tactics to drive up the price. This was certainly not the case. My ducts, dryer vent and furnace was cleaned and the cost was very reasonable. I have already given their number to a few of my co-workers. We will continue to have them come back every year.

Project: Air Ducts & Vents - Clean
They use a different technique, they pluged in a close- system to one of the vents and they say that all of the air ducts get cleaned by negative pressure thru one vent, I didnt get it and it didnt sound right, also they didnt do the dryer vent. They try to sale you stuff to remove mold no matter if you say no. Any way I signed their documents like everything was accomplished to help then leave quick. I don't think I will use them again

Initially we were very impressed. We had them clean, sanitze, and install UV filters in both AC units, and they gave me 5 yrs of warranty service. They said if the bulbs ever burn out on the UV units, they would come out immediately to replace it. I noticed 4 weeks ago that one of the bulbs was not working. We have been unable to get anyone from the company to return our calls. I have also inspected some of the ducts as I have been replacing the vent covers, and the ducts are still filthy. It appears that this company took $2000 of my money with no intention of standing by their service or their warranty. I am very disappointed.

The carpet person is more of a sales person. He pushes upgrade of service. They had to come back to reclean. The service is overpriced.

They began with a quote of $45.00 for one room. After they cleaned the carpets they said it would be $113.00. They said the charges were for spot cleaning and scotch guarding. They did not give me these prices before they did the job. After they left some of the water stains came back up. Also, the previously soft carpet is now hard. They also said that the carpet would be dry in 2 hours. It was still wet for about 6-7 hours. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I was glad to have, American Clear Air clean the ducts. The 2 young men, were very nice. They showed me where, there was mold in the return and had that treated. I also went ahead and had them install a Safeguard UV cleaner. Since I am a childcare provider, I wanted to make sure that my home is clean enough so that my daycare children are breathing clean air inside my home.
