Project: Repair a Deck or Porch
I hired Al to do a relatively simple job of building new steps to my front porch. I trusted that he knew what he was doing and left him to the job. The steps he built are visibly off, not safe and not to code. The first step off the porch has a rise of 11 inches while the remaining are 7 inches. I'm not happy

They arrived a bit late but they called to let us know. Once they saw the scope of the project, they proceeded to do what was necessary to complete the job to my satisfaction. They were professional, courteous and worked all the way to completion. I would definitely use their services when the need arises again.

Al did a couple fixes for me - replacing a few light fixtures, caulk/grout etc. Work was satisfactory but the finishing could have been better. My biggest rant is that he arrived late by over an hour and was expensive. I was in a rush and hired the first handyman I could find. I later spoke with a few other handymans that I used for other jobs and their quote was about half of what Al charged me and their work quality was superior. Al had to leave 1 job incomplete because he did not bring material for it even thought it was a part of the job to be done on that day. Overall, no regrets but would not hire him again.

did not fix our machine and $300 it is still not fixed. He promised to show up today and one full week later I still have no working dryer.
