Project: Build Custom Cabinets
Did an excellent of blending two distinct cabinet finishes in one small kitchen. Also was able to get the kind of wood I ideally wanted (hickory) versus more conventional kitchen wood types. Appreciate's Allen's great energy and his ability to listen to customer wants.

Project: Install Cabinets
The job took a lot longer than it should have. There were a lot of delays and periods of non-communication by the proprietor (Allan). The finished product was not exactly what we expected, either. After taking far too long to complete the project, he then sent an invoice less than one week after the job was finally completed, demanding immediate final payment- even enclosing a document that explained the "Mechanic's Lien" process. Not a positive experience for us at all. The only reason that I didn't rate Alcom with just one star is that the job was eventually finished.

Our desire is to please all our customers, every once in a while a client comes a long that is not completly satisfied. Unfortunatly this client wanted to change the already approved work three times and did not want to pay the difference. We have no problem changing the configuration of the cabinetry and the color - even if it is in the middle of the project if the client wants to pay the etra material and labor. Once the project is approved and cabinet configuration and color is approved on it only seems reasonable that that is what we will deliver.

Project: Install Cabinets
On time, professional and did an amazing job on our kitchen install. We purchased cabinets from Home Depot and their cabinet installer's estimate was outrageious. AlCon's bid was reasonable and the installers were fabulous - master craftsmen. We highly recommend them.

Allen was great to work with. He was fair with his price, listened to what we wanted and he was easy to get in contact with. Alcom worked cleanly and I always knew when they would be coming and although we had a small problem with drawers being the wrong size, they let me know the problem right away and when it could be corrected. I am very pleased with the final results and hope to have Alcom come back in the near future to refinish our bathroom cabinets. My kitchen is now the "beauty" I always hoped it would be.

Project: Reface Already Installed Cabinets
Exceptional service, on time and on budget. Allen refaced our kitchen and it looks stunning, now we are adding crown molding and a mantle.......We won't work with anyone else but Allen on any of our home projects. Allen is also coming back to do touch up's and any repairs needed, now that's what you call professionalism. We would recommend Allen, if you want honest, reliable and good old fashioned quality work done, then Allen is your contractor, we are thrilled and happy our kitchen looks fantastic.
