I have over 25 years experience with laminated case work and countertops. I have no lease, no business loan, and no debt. this enable to offer highly competitive pricing. Residentially I also offer built in furniture, such as book cases, window seats, entertainment centers, etc. Commerically I offer store fixtures, custom kiosk, museum displays, and tradeshow exhibits, fixtures/displays/kiosks/custom cabinets, ACF Is owner operated, with no overhead, and offers competitive pricing. Jim was prompt and courteous. He was very attentive to what we wanted for the counter tops and the custom island he made for us. I compared pricing with other leading manufacturers of the same product and Jim was by far a better value. He also was able to create a seamless counter top for the L corner I have in the kitchen; whereas, a leading kitchen design vender would have had a seam in the corner of the top. I would highlty recommend him to anyone looking to have counter tops or islands built.

Jim was great to work with. He's upfront and honest. He tells you the way it is and does what he says he is going to do. He is very knowledgable, shows you options but is also open to customers input. Jim did a great job and I would not hesitate having him work for me again.

Jim was courteous and on time ... Knew his product and prices...told me he could do the job for this price and and in this time. He delivered exactly that! My kitchen looks likes million bucks...I went from an ugly yellow to a stunning brilliant granite colored grey/black! You should post a before and after picture here! I'd recommend Jim to everyone call me or come see his work. I am a very happy satisfied customer!

This is the first time I've felt the need to write in and praise the work of someone. That someone is Jim Aktiv. He has been a contractor for 30 years. I needed a new laminate countertop we wisely chose and called Jim Aktiv Custom fabrications via Servicemagic. He did an awesome job, and it looks much more pricey than it was. So I got quality work for a very reasonable price and cheaper than some quoted prices. So if you want an honest guy who does quality work. Call Jim Aktiv. Very Pleased in Leicester Mass Patti R

Done in a timely fashion, at a price we could afford. Replacing our countertop was a challange, as it was in an older home, and Active Custom Fabrications was able to meet that challange.
