Air Tite Windows and Doors

Happy with the results. Hope to use for replacing my windows.

The installer kept us informed on the status of our order. Through no fault of theirs, the truck in which our windows were waiting was stolen. Air Tite made sure we knew what happened and their office made sure we knew the replacements were on rush order. I have every intention to go back to them when we can afford to replace other windows in our home.

Pretty good contractor. Workers were a little messy and messed up my painted walls. But understood it was due to them fighting to get my old aluminum windows out. Anyway, the new windows look great and we are happy. Plus price was good and they worked in a timely fashion.

The repair team was excellent! They went over and beyond to ensure the job was done right. Thanks for everything guys.

Owner called first. He was courteous, unlike the other two contractors. His professionalism is impressive. The new door was installed about 4 weeks later. Looks nice and works. Only problem is that the frame is wooden and the installers said it must be painted within a week or the wood will swell and warp until the door won't work. That's very disappointing, since I was buying a new door to solve that very problem. Now I have a new $2000 door that could do the very same thing the old one did only sooner. I must also go shopping to find some paint to match the wood color inside the house, then spend hours painting inside and out. I don't remember the seller mentioning that I would have to do anything after installation. I ordered a metal door that wouldn't swell so the door would never stick and it should be colored so it never needs painting. I assumed the frame would match the door order. Big mistake. I called the owner who said that for about $200 more they could put an aluminum cap on the outside frame/edging that would never need painting; however, the inside would still need painting and Air Tite doesn't do painting. They will schedule the installation.

When she contacted our office stating she was not happy because she had to paint the door jamb, it was explained to her that a new construction door door jamb needed to be painted and she would have to paint the new trim inside her house to match. We also told her that we could cap the outside and we would do it at cost because we wanted her to be a satified customer.She agreed this was fine and she is schedule for us to go out and cap the jamb for her at cost.

One of the guys seem to be in a little bit of a rush. I had to ask for them to do things that I would have thought would have been automatically included, like reattach my alarm sensor. But, they did do it after being asked. Most importantly, they did not give me the warranty paperwork or mail it to me like they said they would.

We are not an alarm company that is why we do not reattach alarms. All warranties were mailed

The delivery was weeks late that was very disappointing for us. The windows were not as we expected, they were much to far indented from the outside and came inside to the window sill to far. Not what I expected. One of the windows does not lock properly now. I have to contact the Air Tite, they didnt bring the guarantee with them so I don't even know if there is a real guarantee. I was very disappointed.

The windows were not late. the contract states that we have 3 to 10 weeks for completion and those terms were met and all warranty information was mailed to the customer.

Curtis, the owner, was quick to respond. He handled any questions and concerns in a professional manner. John, the person actually doing the work, was very professional, quick, and meticulous. He did a great job of repairing our rotting work and finished in minimal time.

Air Tite was willing to install just one window in my house. I had been unable to find anyone else who would do that.
