I called them out for a diagnostic which they told me nothing was wrong with our A/C. It was clearly something wrong with it because it was not working and getting the house cool. They came back out and told us it was our thermostat. Another waste of time and money because when he left it still didn't work. Finally on the 3rd time out the guy told us that our fan motor that went out. When he went to fix it he found he needed to go find another part and instead of coming back and putting it it in he went on another call. We finally decided to use someone else and I got the job done the same day for about $100 less! Buyer beware!

Have you ever had a problem with your car, take it to a mechanic only to find out the the problem disappears as soon as you drop it off at the shop? We can only fix what is broken. Read the rest of our reviews. We have 49 ratings and 2 or 3 unhappy customers. You make the call.

Mark was fantastic. He came out on a Sunday during this hottest week of the year within hours of my orignial request. He was friendly, patient and very educational. The prices were very reasonable. I feel often like different service people could easily take advantage of your lack of knowledge or might push you to get new equipment when it's as old as this AC unit is, but was pleasantly surprised to find that his first priority was to repair the existing old unit and also, explain exactly to me what he was doing with each step. Because of that, when it is time to get it replaced we will definitely call Affordable Heating and Cooling, Inc.

This is just not true. The customer had a bad frost free water spigot that he knew was bad. Our technician was dispatched to straighten the fins on his A/C. I told the technician to go ahead and clean the unit for no additional charge if it needed it. He did so, and when he used the spigot, it leaked inside. If there was any negligence on our part, whatsoever. I would have compensated the customer appropriately. This was an unfortunate incident. Bottom line is that if you know that your frost free spigot is damaged from leaving the hose on in cold weather. Fix it immediately, you never no when it will bite you in the rear.
