We are a fully licensed, insured, turnkey General Contractor. We provide services from custom built homes with design-build capability to interior and exterior remodeling within three states. Currently in our 9th year of service, our expert staff brings over 50 years of real world experience to the table! As our business has grown, we have continually expanded our scope of projects, all the while maintaining quality of work and a work ethic rare in our trade. Our successful projects have included everything from small sunroom additions on existing residences to full design-built custom homes over 6,000 square feet! We are fully licensed general contractors in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New York and fully insured. We employ only the highest trained workforce and place heavy emphasis on professionalism. Our worksites are clean, safe and drug and alcohol free. Our staff is outfitted with with state of the art tools, equipment and procedures to ensure a great project!

Communication about project start dates and times could have been much better, but otherwise, I was happy with the service I received, and feel I got a good value for my investment. The crews are great, cleanup was MOSTLY thorough, they weren't daunted when repairs were bigger than originally thought. It was an over-all "great" experience, dealing with this company.

Project: Repair an Asphalt Shingle Roof
Exceptionally fast follow-up to my request for service. The service I requested was scheduled for the same week, so I had no worries about my roof repair being completed. I received a call from the installer immediately after the job was complete, and he explained step-by-step what he had done and described a couple of extra repairs he took care of that I had not expected. I would call Advanced Improvements again for service.

Project: Build or Replace Wheelchair Ramps
I guess there was no way around it, but they built a beautiful but expensive handicap ramp for what will be a fairly short term need. They are a really nice company to deal with. They are very neat and clean everything up better than it was to begin with. I just had trouble with the cost; but since I will need a ramp for a while, I went ahead with it.

Project: Install or Completely Replace Wood Flooring
This almost seemed too good to be true, and it was. This was a myriad of miscommunications and false information. The 1st guy told us everything we wanted to hear. The 2nd guy contradicted the 1st guy on almost everything. He convinced us to do things we didn't want, and now we regret it. It took them 3 1/2 weeks to install two HW floors. Nothing was ever "their fault". We were given more incorrect information than correct information. I would NEVER use them again. At the end they were very apologetic and tried to "fix" everything. Too little too late. We still aren't happy.

Very professional and experienced. Great customer service, job started when they said it would. The crew completely stripped and reshingle my roof and cleaned up my yard as well as my neighors. I am very pleased with the work and service recieved by Advanced Improvements.
