We were totally satisfied with every aspect of our experience with Dennis Begner and his workers, who rebuilt a brick patio for us. Dennis was very knowledgeable and helpful with ideas for the design; he went out of his way to get matching bricks; he was on top of very detail; and he was a delight to work with. We were also impressed by the men he hired. They were excellent craftsman who took obvious pride in their work, and were friendly and fully cooperative with us in every way. And Dennis' price was fair and reasonable, and considerably less than another bid we had received. We would recommend Above the Hedges highly.

Dennis was prompt and friendly about sprucing up our yard. We were moving out of the Decatur area and he was able to make the house look almost nice enough to stay.

Denis came right out to our house to give us an estimate. He made us quite comfortable that he knew what he was doing and discussed which plants should be cut back/ which shouldn't. Because cold weather was scheduled to come in, he made a special trip out with his guys on a Saturday and they worked into the afternoon to get the work done before the very cold temperatures. Dennis came out with his men to tell them what needed to be done and they did an excellent job. We will be hiring them again to clean up the yard as the Oak leaves slowly fall and will likely hire them to do our yard all summer next year.

Project: Grade or Reslope Grounds for Landscaping
It took a long time to get the work done because of the weather, but Dennis did a wonderful job. I also want to add he was very good at accessing the drainage problems and looking for solutions beyond what he does. I would HIGHLY recommend them.
