Excellent service! Needed analysis of lally columns and beams in basement to determine if it would be possible to remove some to open the space for a finished basement. Mr. Gutt called and came promptly and provided his analysis very timely and at a good price. He worked with me to go over my options for replacing the existing steel beam with LVL lumber so the lally columns in question could be removed. Gave me exact instructions on what would need to be done by a contractor. Also while on-site identified issues with my poured concrete foundation and porch and told me how and why to correct the issue. Thank you Mr. Gutt!

Atam was able to come to my house the same day that I called him. He came up with a solution so that the deck that my son was building would meet code. He sent us the signed and sealed information paper in a timely manner. The county accepted his judgement, and our deck passed the final inspection.

Mr. Gutt was very thorough in going through the problems I had and offerning his suggestions on how to deal with them. He often asked if I had other questions he could answer and, as a result, pointed out something I had not considered to be a problem. He sent a written report with his recommendations that I could use to hire a contractor when I'm ready to have the work done.
