Of course I did not go on the roof to see how things were before and after so I can only take their word about what was needed and what was done. I was impressed with the person who came out to give the estimate - he wrote up a very thorough estimate. This caused a slight problem because the person who came out to do the job rewrote the contract with much less detail and it actually looks like he did less than was originally noted on the original estimate for the same price. Again I am trusting that I was not gypped. Time will tell. They did suggest replacing an "old pipe that is not up to code" with a new pipe from the boiler. Being on the spot without being able to verify this, I still agreed--taking their word for it--I don't know if it was necessary. Overall they seemed to be on the level.  See All Ratings
