After replacing the leaky hose on our dishwasher Jack was checking to see if the unit would function properly and in the process the unit made a loud snap and began smoking. We were then told that the motor fried as a result of the leaky hose, that the new repairs would cost more than buying a new unit, and that he would only charge us the $65.00 diagnostic fee, which we paid. We have since purchased a new dishwasher and had it installed and are still wondering what just happened?

I was very skeptical about hiring a contractor that was not referred to me by someone I know but after reading all the great reviews about Jack's Appliance Repair, I decided to contact him. What a relief it was to find someone who is honest, personable and knows what he's doing. He will be my appliance repair person from now on!! I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for someone who is trustworthy and does a great job and doesn't try and rip you off!!

Jack's App. Repair called me within minutes of my request to service magic. Jack was at my house within about an hour. He diagnosed the problem and returned the next day with the part to fix my washer. He and his partner, Mark, had the part installed in no time (maybe 20 minutes) so originally I thought $70 for labor was expensive, but then they did extras for me. My dryer was not well connected to the exhaust pipe and they refitted it for me AND taped it. They also suggested a fix for the odor in my washing machine & ended up cleaning my dryer vent for only $20. Jack also peaked at my broken oven door and gave me tips on my dishwasher.
