We installed seismic connectors to two 1908 post and pier foundation buildings. Satisfied with the price, quality, and service, he has since hired us to do the same for another building. We continue to do more work as he needs. Currently we are restoring the exterior of the Victorian which we repaired the foundation. Our deep knowledge in all aspects of construction makes us a good resource for all phases of repairs from foundation to finish work.

I contacted this contractor late at night via email. The next morning, he replied to my email, followed up with a phone call and a visit to my front yard to assess the site. It turned out that he had his equipment staged a couple of blocks away at another project, and would be wrapped up with that by early afternoon. He would be able to swing by my place afterward. When he arrived, it took only 20 minutes to do the job ( remove 14 basalt landscaping boulders). He did a great job and was able to coordinate his time and equipment between two projects with skill. What I had been planning for over a year took only 20 minutes to complete.

The overall experience was great. Gary and his team were always on time and the job (once started due to weather delays) was done in the time frame that I was given. Gary and his team are very professional and courteous and the finished product looks great. I'm very happy with the decision I made to hire ACS and will (and have already) recommend them to friends and would gladly use their service again myself one day.

Gary and his team did a great job installing new windows on our house in Ballard. Initially Gary estimated two days for the project, but brought in extra staff in order to complete it in one day. The crew was well-mannered and had good attention to detail. He did a good job showing us where we could save money on the project without compromising quality, and threw in a repair to our siding that was a concern to me for basically nothing. I appreciated the prompt and detailed communication, including detailed proposals and updates by email. The price of the job was exactly as quoted. A pleasure to work with and I highly recommend.

This home was in danger of sliding down the cliff as it sits on a steep sandy lot. 18 pin piles and 5 helical anchor tiebacks were installed to stop the movement. We installed a new foundation inside the existing off level foundation to eliminate the need to demolish the home. Homeowner was happy we saved the home and pleased with the quick pace of the work. Our expertise in foundation repairs and execution of the project earned us this project and future recommendations from another satisfied customer. Gary has diversified experience in a lot of areas. We ended up postponing the concrete work in favor of replacing single-pane windows with low-e, double pane. And we were glad we did once the weather turned frigid. Everything fit very well. We had to do some minor paint touch ups, but for the most part, it was a successful job and his crew was fast and accurate.

Another example of our expertise in a wide variety of home remodeling. The window replacement would provide immediate return of their investment as the weather changed. This customer was impressed as we replaced three large windows in one day. Painters followed up with the touch ups. We will be helping them with excavation,grading,concrete walkways and stair replacement. Our experienced crew average over 10 years with our company and are part of our family. This was a wall made of recycled concrete from another project. It worked out well as we had sufficient material to recycle and make a retaining wall instead of dumping the material. Another example of our efforts to minimize waste whenever possible. This homeowner was impressed at the quality of the work especially as the material is random and the landscape was on a slope.
