About ACK & Associates Home Inspections Top of Page

ACK & Associates Home Inspections is an industry leading provider of detailed home inspections in Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa. Led by Owner, Alan C. Kanngieser, brings over 27 years of construction experience to the Home Inspection profession as a Certified Inspector. Alan is also the Founding President of the Omaha Chapter of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors, NACHI. Licensed as a contractor in multiple states nationwide, Al brings his past experience as an executive for a nationwide contractor which specializes in residential remodeling. His education includes Architecture at the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE), Accounting at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM), and Home Inspections at Allied Business Schools.

Al was extremely professioal and thourough. He explained everything to us in great detail, and was very patient while we asked our questions. The report was orgainzed in such a way that I will be able to use for years. It is extremely organized, easy to read, has all the information I could ever want, and was sent to me within a few hours. I would recommend Al to anyone, in fct, I have alredy started spreading his name!

Everything was as expected. Was a little pricy compared to the sq footage he inspected i thought, but overall, was great.

Al is an excellent inspector. The inspection was highly comprehensive with a lot of pictures and high attention to detail. He even showed up the next day to review the house building plans to ensure his comments were accurate. He worked a full 4.5 hours looking over our house and that does not include the time he spent putting together the formal report or the time it took him the next day. We feel comfortable in buying the house now that it has been through such a great inspection. Al Kanngieser was very professional and gave us alot of information that was key in our decision to buy the house. We ended up leaving that house because of the things he found and are currently using him to inspect another house.
