The three men who came to paint the house were extremely friendly. Even though the project was more labor intensive than they had planned for, they were more than accommodating. We are extremely and completely pleased with the quality of the work and would definitely recommend them.

Our paint job was disappointing but made adequate after insisting on numerous corrections. Pros: They were not our lowest bid, but reasonably priced. They work very fast. Taping and masking was good. Workers were skilled with the spray gun Cons: Lack of adequate prep work prior to painting: - Cracks in plaster were not opened up and properly patched. - Gaps in wood trim were left unfilled. - The few holes that were patched did not get sanded smooth prior to painting. - No scraping or sanding of anything, including loose, peeling paint, prior to painting. - Wall cornices and top of door jams were not vacuumed prior to painting.

Alex was the first one to call, he scheduled the estimate immediately, worked with our budget and time line, so we didn't have to deal with anyone else. The color we've selected ended up being rare and more difficult than expected, but Alex worked as long as needed to complete the job as planned. He also provided an advice on fixing the color-related imperfections should they become bothersome to us and even landed us one of his tools for that occasion. We are keeping him in mind and recommending to our friends.

Alex gave a bid promptly, was accessible throughout the job, brought his wife by as a color consultant and then came to the rescue quickly when I had a color emergency... fixing my trim color. The house and garage look great now. I'm really pleased with the results and would definitely hire A & V again for another job.

A & V was first to call, first to come out and give an estimate, and came in with the best estimate in terms of both cost and time needed to get the job done. Then they actually did the job (interior paint) in less time than estimated, and did it extremely well.
