I was looking for a water softener. Joe got back to me right away and offered me an awesome price right over the phone. He knew my townhouse complex and knew right away what I'd need. I placed my order and 4 days later he was here. He works evenings for those who can't get home during the day to sit around waiting for repairmen. He explained everything I needed to know and was finished in about two hours. This was the most painless contractor I've ever hired. Definitely definitely recommend A-1.

Joe called within a couple hours of my request and offered a quote over the phone. His price was $200 less than two other competitors for the same water softener. My wife and I discussed the price and scheduling then called Joe back. He scheduled an evening install which accommodated our schedules. After a two hour install, our water is soft and the price was not one penny higher than the original quote. Joe gave a tutorial on settings, tested the water then cleaned up. Fantastic.

I talked to him and the day he was able I was not but I said my husband maybe available, I would call him back. My husband called him and left a message and then he called my husband back.Then my husband left a detailed voice message about possible days he would be available. My husband never heard back from him.Then one day he calls 10 minutes before he arrives(not on a daymy husband said he would be home).He left my water was still leaking and he headed out on his vacation for two weeks. very nonsocial the entire visit, did not anwer all my questions i asked while he was here.I called when he siaid can it wait until I get back from up north

Great experience -- never felt oversold. Contractor was able to pinpoint an exact time and arrived on time -- no staying home all day waiting! Barely even knew he was here doing work and my water tastes a LOT better!
