I was leaving the country and needed to prepare my property for rental. Mr. Elliott provided a professional estimate and finished the job (above and beyond) to the penny. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to see the work before I left as I had to transfer jobs quickly; however my property manager was very pleased and I have seen the inspection pictures. I had LCDs on the wall, flaky trim and a daughter's room that was purple. When Mr. Elliott was done, you simply wouldn't know these issues existed. This company did a fantastic job and I highly recommend them.

Project: Remove Wallpaper
Mr Elliott and his helper removed wallpaper from five rooms in my house. They are very good workers. They arrived either on time or a little earlier than scheduled. They cleaned up all mess. Mr Ellliott has many years of experience with wallpaper and is very knowledgable. My wallpaper had been up for close to ten years so it was stubborn. He used many tools for the removal such as chemicals, steam and scraping. They did an excellent job. I would highly recommend A-1 Painting and Contracting for your wallpaper removal needs.

Generally, I was very pleased with A-1 Painting & Contracting. They cleaned up everyday after work and stayed on track. They willing to make changes and adjustments to the original contract without a lot of extra charges.

I can only give them the highest possible marks. The work was done promptly, on schedule, and the men were very conscientious and dedicated. In fact, because they knew I was going out of town, they made a special effort to start early and finish way before I had expected

A-1 was able to start work right away, within 1 week. They worked very quickly. We did not realized that we have to move furnitures on our own. They could have done a better job of cleaning up.

A-1 painting does quality work. The paint was impeccably done and the wall repairs perfect. We had a room that had very bad wall damage--even on the ceiling. They made the walls look brand new. They could have been more clear about the techniques they would use to get the work done and they didn't bring many color choices with them from so had to go to Home Depot and look at a wider selection. They arrived within a 30 min window each day they said they would arrive, but tended to stay later than we agreed and finished a day late. Overall, we're happy with A-1 and would probably use them again.
