At A1 Landscaping our weekly maintenance includes a variety of services like mowing of all turf areas, edging of all concrete areas (sidewalks, driveways, etc), as well as trimming around all trees, fences, and areas not reached by lawnmower. We can also accommodate your weeding, bed or tree ring edging, cultivating, and general property clean up needs as well. We use: Bunton walk behind 36", & 48" bagging lawn mower, and our 52" Great Dane Super Surfer. We also use RedMax Blowers and Trimmers.
How We Got Started
I chose to work in this industry because I use to tell my parents when I was growing up that I like to help others and make their lawns shine, so it became my profession. I love it!!.I love working in Landscaping and Lawn maintenance because I like creating new ideas and make the lawn stand out..We started in this industry in I started mowing lawns at age 12 which was in 1996. I knew what I wanted and where I wanted to be by age 21 and made my dream come true..We describe our business as Well established

  • Favorite Local Restaurant: I like going to TGI Fridays, because its not your average sit down resturant nor is it a high end resturant its in between.
  • Favorite Travel Destination: I have been all over the world, so I would have to say that I would travel to Italy again.
  • Favorite Sports Team: I'm sorry to all the White Sox fans out there, but I am a Cub's Fan all the way home!!

He expected us out in the last blizzard of 36" to be out plowing every 2-4" where that was unreasonable or impossible due to the roads being shut down. Everyone was stranded & couldn't get out. Of Course no one understands due to he/she paying someone to do it for them. If you have a snowblower use it, get out of the driveway try driving on the road, get stuck Spend $150 to get out & then maybe you will understand what us contractors go through in these weather conditions.

Dealing with A1 from the beginning has been a pleasure. Brian came to my home, went over several options, made some GREAT recommendations and got right on the task of a fall clean up (and boy did my yard need it!). Armando did an awesome job on my yard. I look forward to doing A LOT more business with A1 and would recommend them to everyone.

They came out and got the lawn fixed when our mower concked out. They even came back a second time to get the grass that was too tall, and at no extra charge. We loved it so much that we used them for the remainder of the summer, even after our mower came back from Sears. Shane M.
