Make sure you go around with the contractor and make your needs regarding what to cut very explicit. I missed making sure that a tree I wanted removed was on the estimate. When I called the contractor, he remembered that I did want that tree removed and removed it at no additional cost. I have recommended A-1 Tree service to a friend and will use their services again in the future when needed.

I hired A-1 Tree Service because after I spoke with the owner, I felt he knew what he was doing. He was able to take care of the root problem without having to remove the tree. He also trimmed the tree without topping the tree (which I hate). There were however, two branches that I didn't like how they were cut and that is the only reason I didn't rate A-1 a 5. The project was completed quickly (within a week of when I initially called them).
