Comment: What I can reach appears to only be one layer but it is over plaster, not drywall. What is on what poorly applied and parts look as if they were pieced together and glued. If the condition of the wall isn't too bad underneath I might prefer paint on part. The parlor/stairway/and upstairs landing need to be done. The part I can't do is the stairway, and the wall over the steps as a scaffold would be needed, or an adjustable ladder that would work on steps and reach a very high wall. That wall I would like to have painted. I can't even measure to determine how many rolls of wallpaper are needed.
