| Comment: We have a 50 year old Swamp Maple that appears to have never been pruned. A number of years back we were advised it had a griddeling root problem which my husband addressed. Now, however, the leaves are small and there is an overabundance of seeds in the spring. We believe there is not enough room for the roots to grow but we may be mistaken about that. There is a dead section at the top of the tree from the time of the root problem. |
