Comment: Existing skylight (52" X 38") is on a slightly pitched rubber roof. It was designed to open, but we haven't done so, and it leaks, so we've tried to have it sealed in. That doesn't work. Our good local contractor thinks it needs to be replaced with a fixed widow on a curb with special effort to seal around the rubber roof. He's asked me to look on line for a possible replacement. We need expert advice. Can the present window be repaired, or must it be replaced? It the custom size prohibitive in cost, or can we find a standard size that's close enough? Should we consider giving it up and simply closing in the roof? Help!
