| Comment: Farmers Insurance has given us a claim amount for wind damage. They are saying we need the entire roof replaced. Measured by satellite they have the roof as 35.36 squares. They recommend removal of old roof and allow 10% waste on the new roof or 38.9 squares; with ice shield and felt, new flashing and drip edge. I would like to see what it will cost to do this work. There is a steep roof charge added in for a roof that is mostly 8/12 to 9/12 with a small section that is more walk-able. |
