| Comment: I do not know a lot about roofs, and I don't even know if I correctly selected "asphalt shingle roof." <br /> <br />I am trying to sell my house at 6910 S. High Point Lane (the house on the 5 acre lot on the corner of S. High Point and Route K). <br /> <br />The roof is, as the inspector describes, "nearing the end of its lifetime." There might be a couple of leaks, but I don't think so because the inside is dry. The previous tenant did some repairs, so I think there were some old leaks. Anyway, I'm interested in a roof replacement and not a repair in order to help me sell the house better. <br /> <br />Price is very much an object. So I am looking for the least expensive way to have a decent new roof put on the house, including materials and labor and haul-away of the old stuff. <br /> <br />The house itself is a 1958 frame house, about 1500 sq ft. I'm not sure how much doing this will add to the sale price and money |
