| Comment: The bathtub is probably original with the house, circa 1948, and is chipped/rusted around the drain. Otherwise the tub is fine and, since I am thinking of retiling the bath area over the holiday break in December, I thought it might be worthwile resurfacing the tub instead of replacing it. Assuming it is, is it a better idea to arrange for resurfacing before or after other restoration work is done in the bathroom such as retiling the walls surrounding the tub and (probably) installing new hardware for the faucet? |
