| Comment: Currently without hot water because the natural gas/water input was turned-off due to the fact that the 18 year-old AO Smith water heater had developed a leak, apparently from the bottom of the water heater. I'm looking for a higher-efficiency natural gas water heater to replace the old one ... but not necessarily one THAT VENTS OUT THE SIDE OF THE HOUSE like our new high-efficiency natural gas furnace ... perhaps our new natural gas hot-water-heater can vent out-the-top-of-our-two story-roof like the old hot water heater did. I'm simply looking for a HIGHER-EFFICIENCY hot water heater that'll have lower consumption of natural gas and yet provide the same amount of hot water because they make MORE EFFICIENT hot-water-heaters now. Looking to install a new hot-water-heater within the next few weeks because we cannot go without hot water for too much longer!! |
