| Comment: I have installed a new direct vent gas fireplace and am in need of a gas line ran to it. I have a 1" main line running below the unit in the basement, but the basement is finished. The nearest union would be at the water heater which is 30' away. However, I have an accessible area that I can get a 10' flex line to the fireplace but would need a "T" cut in and a valve installed. Can you cut the existing 1" supply line and install a "T" to replace an existing 90 degree fitting and then install a valve and the steel flex line to the fireplace?
