| Comment: I have an AO Smith Model FSG 40 248 installed in 2001. Tonight, found water leaking from the relief valve and also from around the top of the heater (at the joint of the vertical wall and top cover of the heater). I'm assuming the thermocouple went bad, leading to constant heat, leading to an over press situation. Could be wrong but that's my guess. I need to have this fixed promptly (within a day or so). |
