| Comment: A main pipe in the attic is cracked. I have available two photographs of the pipe which clearly show the necessary repair; they can be uploaded or emailed upon request. A relative in construction suspects the pipe may have split during a winter freeze while the house was vacant. <br /> <br />The pipe is copper, and the crack is in a straight length of pipe. The split portion needs to be cut and removed, and a replacement length of pipe needs to be attached with two joints. <br /> <br />Water to the house must remain turned off until it is repaired. We are scheduled to move into the house on Monday. |
