However, if you do repair them at all I would like to have it looked at before replacing it, just to see. I am pretty sure our current water heater is gas, but would consider electric. Also I would be interested in discussing the pros and cons of tankless water heaters as an option. I would like to have this taken care of as soon as possible so that our leak does not get worse.
