| Comment: outdoor faucet is leaking most likely due to loose nut behind knob, but screw holding on knob is hopelessly rusted. whole faucet must be replaced, but it is soldered connection inside, not threadded. I wish to do the following: 1)Replace existing outdoor faucet with anti-siphon faucet with threadded connection and stainless screw attaching knob. 2)Install NEW shut off valve to the outdoor copper pipe so that I can halt water flow to the outdoor faucet ONLY. No ceiling in basement, easy access to pipes. |
