| Comment: Already obtained city permit for major remodeling, however, was informed by different parties about the sprinker system implementation. We are R3-1 resident with major remodeling which include brand new roofing done. The only addition is about less than 60 sq ft bathroom. We were advised in one way that resident does not require sprinkler system while the other one advise due to more than 50% remodeling, it is required to have sprinkler system even it is resident. We already passed the first inspection on 5/18 and roof framing/plumbing is in good process. It does make a lot difference if we have to delay all the work due to new plan (sprinkler) to be submitted and new plumbing to be done accordingly. |
