Comment: Planning on purchasing an as is home; however, aspergillus/pencillium were found to be 5870 count/m3 in the basement. The outside count was 169. The air ducts had been recently cleaned. There are signs of moisture on the ceiling of one room, which is directly below a bathroom. There are also signs of moisture on the ceiling and wall of another room. It was disclosed that the home's air return (in the attic) does overflow from time to time. The basement is a walk out basement. Need to do exploration as to where the mold source is coming from. The job will require removal of ceiling as well as paneling on the walls. I'm not sure how extensive the exploration will be.
