Comment: Post-Katrina, we gutted & reconstructed our house. 10 months later, the sewer backed up & re-flooded the house. We dried out the new walls. 4 months later, an air-conditioning serviceman broke a pipe in the attic & water poured into two walls and some rooms. We were without A/C for 17 days, during a hot, humid time of year. Although we tried to dry out the walls, we did not remove the drywall a second time. Now I can smell a "musty" (moldy) smell in our guest bedroom. I would like to actually tent & fumigate the house, as we plan on selling in 2 years.
