Comment: I have been renting a cottage for over one year. I have noticed a mildew/mold smell since day one. In Summer time the cottage is extremely damp. I have used the damp rid bags in the closet which fill with water within a day or two. I have found what appears to be black mold under the kitchen sink as well as in the crawlspace below the bathrom. I also think another form of mold occurs in the bathroom.
