| Comment: I want to create an aluminum (or stainless steel but the cheaper the better since cost is a huge factor) drum that has the capacity to hold around 50 gal. of water that can be boiled within this vessel. I was playing around with some numbers and the idea I have in mind is a cylinder with 1 closed bottom and another aluminum circle for the top that isn't welded. The dimensions of the cylinder would be from a rolled 42x60in sheet (composed of 24x48 in peices) to get about a 19 inches in diameter and 42 inches tall cylinder and maybe .04 inches thick (it will be insulated so thickness isn't a large concern only for structure). Of course all these dimensions would be flexible based on what metal was available (or the cheapest). Let me know what the cheapest something of this nature would cost.
