| Comment: Disregard the square footage- the project requires volume measurements. We have an area in our yard that backs up to a drainage ditch. Trees were removed from the area a few years ago, and now there is a 45-50 degree grade going down into the ditch and eroding more each year. I'm planning to dig a trench, place a small fence or wall within the trench, and place dirt in front of it in order to: stop further erosion, give me a decorative area to plant in, and serve as a divider between our usable yard and the wild ditch. I think I'll need approximately 288 cubic feet or 10.7 cubic yards of soil. We can probably do most of it with fill and just cover it with topsoil. |
