Comment: I currently own a home that is over 60 years old and from the look of the blown-in attic insulation it is that old as well. My home rests on about a 30 inch height crawlspace that runs underneath the whole of my house. There is currently no insulation under the floor and I also believe there is no insulation in the interior or exterior walls. This results and a home that is either extremely hot or cold depending on the season and rather expensive to heat or cool. I would like the blown-in insulation to be completely removed and spray foam used to insulate the attic rafters and under the floors. I would also like recommendations on how to insulate at the least the exterior walls. I would also like to add flooring to the attic just for the use of storage so I would also like a recommendation on what type of insulation to be used between the ceiling of the main living space and the wood flooring of the attic.
