| Comment: My daughter has a single family house in Fairfax City. The basement is finished and she wants to rent it out. The problem is that you can hear everything when your are upstairs or if your downstairs. The house was built in 1952 and there is drywall on the ceiling in the basement. The ceiling area of the basement is approximately 800 square feet. We would like to get this lower area soundproofed so that we do not hear the tennants and they don't hear us. Can you help. The apartment (lower area) is currently vacant and we would like to get the work done ASAP as this house is near George Mason Univ and it will rent quickly. Appreciate your help... Jim |
