| Comment: I would like a quote on installing insulation in existing garage walls that has a master bedroom overhead on second floor. Two walls are approximately 16'X10' and a third wall approximately 11'X10'. I would also be interested in ideas on how to insulate a gas fireplace on an external wall that allows a considerable draft in under the main (gas burning) compartment. I will not have availability to the house until I return to the US this coming summer. I am investigating costs for this work at this time. | Comment: Master bath is 10 degrees cooler in winter than adjacent rooms. I suspect there is little or no insulation in the walls and that the attic blown-in insulation has been trampled down because of other projects that required climbing into the attic. Heat lamp in water closet and aux electric heater in master bath have little affect. Free-standing ceramic heater is the only thing that warms the bathroom up. Would like to have a warmer master bathroom. |
