| Comment: My mother moved into a home a few years ago with an existing Ademco Vista 4120XM system. She has never used it, so she doesn't know the security code. It is currently set to chime every time a door or window opens, which is driving her crazy. I could take it off chime if I knew the code, but I don't. Is there a way to reset the system without knowing the code? Is this something someone could walk me through over the phone? I would be glad to pay for a phone consultation if possible.
