Comment: I am in the process of purchasing a home (which explains why I am not the current owner) closing about March 15. I will be making some renovations and upgrades to the home and want to include measures to reduce energy consumption. The previous owner has Alzheimers and the listing agent told me he could not get copies of past utility bills from utility companies. So, I'm kind of going in blind. Since renovations will begin as soon as we close, I want to get an energy audit in advance of the closing so that I can includes these in my plan. The home is not now occupied and I'm sure I will have not difficulty getting permission to do this work.
