| Comment: Electric heat pump blows ice cold air at times for what appears to be an endless cycle; room actually gets colder. Turning the unit off at the breaker and then back on again circumvents the problem and the air is quickly back to nice and hot. Last year I recall a large amount of ice on the unit. An additional and perhaps separate problem is that I don't believe the swing temp for the thermostat works either. The thermostat will turn the heater on as soon as the temp falls to 1 degree below the set temp even though I have the swing set to 4. |
