| Comment: roof rafter repair and inside, tongue & groove ceiling (rotten) remove and replace with easier materials to handle. I will be doing future work myself. I work full time and don't have the time to do the BIG repair work. This house was built in 1957 by my father, mother, sister and me, oh! and grandpa, who helped lay ALL of the cinder blocks with my dad. My sister and I carried ALL of these blocks, while my mom mixed the mortar. It is a two story concrete cinder block, hip roof type house. It has three bedrooms, one bath (downstairs) livingroom, kitchen and small landing area around the stairwell. This is where most of the rain in coming thru and rottening everything. I want to eventually have a metal roof, but I need to do the repair work FIRST. Do you think you could help me and will this be very expensive? |
